Welcome to the University of Buckingham! We are delighted to have you this year. As you may know, our PGCE takes place in schools: Trainees in this scheme are employed by their schools during the year in which they take the course. They will be supported within their schools by a designated mentor under the direction of the University of Buckingham Faculty of Education and The Anglo Mexican Foundation. The University assigns students a tutor who will monitor their progress and visit the Trainees at their schools once a term. During the year, interns have the equivalent of nine days of mandatory training, the first part of which is a morning of face-to-face and online induction in early September. The rest of the training will occur at the end of September, January and March. ¡Bienvenido a la Universidad de Buckingham! Estamos encantados de tenerte este año. Como sabrás, nuestro PGCE se efectúa en las escuelas: los practicantes en este esquema son empleados por sus escuelas durante el año en el que toman el curso. Serán apoyados dentro de sus escuelas por un mentor designado, bajo la dirección de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Buckingham y The Anglo Mexican Foundation.
