The Money, Inflation and Monetarism course is designed for undergraduate students and professionals who wish to explore theories of inflation and macroeconomic stability from a monetarist perspective. You will be introduced to monetary theory, while exploring the roles of
banking in a modern economy. The course teaches the origin and evolution of modern monetary institutions and the work of the central bank in an economy. This will provide the theoretical basis that will allow you to understand the importance of central banks’ decisions in the explanation of inflation and nominal income.
