This module is a group research project. You will work in a group size of between 3 and 5. The aim is to produce an analysis of a foreign policy issue. There is flexibility over your choice of topic, and the choice will be guided by your interests. There is a list of suggested topics but you may choose another in consultation with the tutor. As a group you should meet regularly through the term to research your topic, write a report, and produce both a video and a poster. In addition you will have to provide a reflection on the process of learning. The module tests your understanding of international relations and your ability to think yourself into the position of a policy-maker. It will also enhance your employment skills, such as the ability to use different media (prose, video, visual – poster) and work as a group.
